full-time because they can’t afford to retire. I don’t know what is going to happen to younger generations when they reach sixtysomething. Most won’t be getting traditional defined pensions and so many are working in the gig economy or off the books, which will affect how much social security they’ll get. We’re going to see too many seniors become poor after working their whole lives.
