It didn't bother me much once we got an apartment together--as long as it wasn't MY dishes she was dirtying and leaving around, I didn't much care--but when we shared a dorm room, she would shove her dirty dishes in a dishpan and leave it on the floor under her loft bed for days. Once, she grabbed the dishpan to finally wash her dishes and found the dishes covered in ants. Ewwwww. Luckily, the ants had swarmed all over the dishes and weren't in the rest of our room.
