school, so take it with a grain of salt...but I say yes, yes it does. Both El Chico and I like it much better than Hocus Pocus.
I do think we tend to give movies we saw growing up more slack for how they age than if we see them for the first time as adults, so I really am not the best person to ask though! LOL.
It's somewhat campy (it is a witch movie), somewhat dark, and it is very 90s, but the themes are sisterhood and women coming together.
Nicole plays the flighty sister and Sandra plays the more serious sister, both going against type. Stockard Channing and Dianne West are their aunts, and a very young Evan Rachel Wood is one of Sandra's daughters. Some Stevie Nicks or Fleetwood Mac on the soundtrack.
I think the West Coast plays New England, so if that bothers you...
