It was really really really super soft bread with a light cream filling. I'd never had it before either but I liked it. I looked up the bakery - they have a location in Columbus and one in Oxford OH (plus one in Pittsburgh) so if you're ever out that way give it a try! They're a South Korean company, so some of the things they sell are different from a traditional bakery. I had an ube latte there in person when I picked everything up and it was so so so good.

Bff and I have talked about how much we like Columbus. Neither of us have ever been there at a time where the schedule was completely up to us; she's been a few times for things related to her niece's years at Otterbein in neighboring Westerville and I've been there a half dozen times for various reasons but have only twice stayed the night. We're talking about maybe taking 2-3 days and really exploring Columbus; if we do, I know where I'm going to suggest we go for breakfast (or a snack).

Oh, funny, I've never heard of Otterbein University before - here in Baltimore it's a brand of cookies that's been around for 100+ years! They're really thin and crispy, really good.

I like Columbus. I haven't been since I think 2010, but before that I visited a friend that worked at Ohio University in Athens and we did day trips to Columbus (she eventually moved from Athens to Lancaster so it was even shorter to get to Columbus, then she moved to TX and I don't think I've been to Ohio since before I got married even though my SIL lives there.). Anyway. We went to the Short North area and really liked it - I had Jeni's Ice Cream for the first time there. We also saw an old movie at the huge theater there (hopefully it's still open) And hit up a German restaurant too. I hope you get to go and just explore it soon, I liked it. One of these days I'll go back.

I've been trying different products but overall my biggest issue is still with my hair getting frizzy. Different hair gels don't seem to be helping much.

Ooo, yeah...that's an issue I'm having myself lately. I'm slightly regretting this last haircut; I asked for 6" off and the stylist did that but I think I should've asked for only 4" off. Right now, my hair is more waves than curls and when it's humid, those waves turn right to frizz.

My problem is it will look good...look good...then WHAM nothing but frizz. I get maybe half a day out of it if I'm lucky.
