he could be sound asleep on the bed, but if I go into the attached bathroom and slide the door shut? He's awake and trying to get into the bathroom.

Or into the closed bedroom door, the closed garage door...if me or hubby are behind said closed door, it must be opened immediately (according to Tux!)
