I’ve been swimming a mile 3x a week but I’ll probably hit the pool an extra day or two this week. I might also eat out in a restaurant with A/C if it gets too hot.
A number of our local Lake Erie beaches, plus a few other lake beaches in NE Ohio, currently have unsafe levels of bacteria in the water, so folks won't be able to cool down with a dip in the lake :-( Also, the Lake Erie beach closest to me--Mentor Headlands--is shut down for four days this week while parts of a new Superman movie is being filmed there.
Right now my local neighborhood weather forecast for the week doesn’t look that bad. It only has one day hitting 91 and the rest in the 80s with overnights in the 70s. I can handle that if the humidity and heat index doesn’t make it feel a lot hotter.
That's generally how I feel when it gets hot. Unfortunately, we're supposed to be in the low to mid-90s all through this week and into the weekend, so not a lot of relief here :-(
There’s a cafe right across the street, so I can always go hang out there with an iced coffee.
Oooo, I would LOVE to have a cafe across the street from me! All I have is neighbors with a bunch of fancy vehicles in the driveway and two yippy, irritating chihuahuas usually barking at me from the front window.
