I don't think anything I watch fits your bill though. Loot (Maya Rudolph) and Schmigadoon! (trapped in a musical) are my other faves.

Ted Lasso is overrated and overhyped. I don't understand why everyone loves it.

Acapulco has a similar positive energy going, is bilingual and is an uncle telling his nephew his life story and has two timelines, current day and the 80s, complete with an 80s cover band with horribly translated lyrics of all the 1980s hits. It's just my feel good show and my fave current show on any streamer or network.

Sugar is a detective/noir thriller with a twist that you'll either love or hate, no in between. It stars Colin Farrell. No word on a S2 though.

Palm Royale has an amazing cast, but the writing is meh. I ended up being disappointed and despite the cliffhanger ending, was kind of annoyed it got renewed for S2. Kristin Wiig, Ricky Martin, Laura Dern, Allison Janey, Josh Lucas..

Dark Matter might fit your bill. I haven't watched it, but it's from the writer of the Wayward Pines books, if you liked that series. I think it's currently airing.

The Morning Show is The Newsroom Lite. Again, lots of star power, but not the most cohesive writing. Apple has amazing production values with lots of star power, but the writing isn't always the best.

Shrinking is also better than Ted Lasso and from the same creator. Jason Segal and Harrison Ford (and Jessica Williams) are psychiatrists dealing with their own issues.

You might like Slow Horses, For All Man Kind, and Foundation, but I haven't watched them.
