I'm surprised that GRRM does not see Daemon as a villain because he's a total villain. LOL! To me an "anti-hero" is someone who does bad things but for a reason he/she feels justifies it. They're morally gray. Daemon is just a black soul. He wants power, he wants the Iron Throne, and he wants this war because that is how he will get those other things. He's just stirring the pot because he can.
Otto is horrible but I also find him entertaining. He's a schemer who moves the plot along. He's a Varys, IMO, while Deamon is a Littlefinger.
So book spoiler talk now -- I think Daemon and Aemond are 2 of the shows most interesting characters so I wonder if the show will change their deaths from the book. Because it will be a huge loss if both exit at the same time.
