to come from somewhere. That is usually other taxes that you pay. And if more money is needed to fix roads, money in the government’s budget will be shifted to transportation from something else in the budget. If not, then there will be more potholes and unstable bridges.

ETA: If you think all roads should be free, do you also think all public transportation like trains and buses should be free too?
