(all the alternative meals I could think of required at least some baking). Alas, it was not the case.
I've mentioned here before that Dad eats to live, whereas I live to eat. Therefore, it is *extremely* rare for him to compliment my--or anyone's--cooking. But every once in a while, he surprises me with a "I kinda like that <fill in something I made>. He told me last time I made pulled pork in the crockpot that he kinda liked it. I use some really basic seasoning--a salt substitute, some onion, a little garlic--and then we'll eat the pulled pork with BBQ sauce, or in tacos with taco sauce, or Dad will smother his in horseradish sauce and have a sandwich I love how versatile pulled pork is!
