I tried reading the Crazy Rich Asians trilogy (the movie was my second date with El Chico, by the way), and I stopped halfway through the second one as it just wasn't for me....I'm glad you're liking it though, even if it made me feel like you feel about The Guest, lol. (I'll be avoiding that one!)
