today is the first day in MONTHS that no one is expected at my house. not contractors or electricians or painters or HVAC guys. No cleaning people and no DELIVERIES.

so i'm just sitting here with my laptop, responding to emails and praying no one needs me to do anything that requires a lot of thinking.
