mean many different things. Sometimes they have specific filmmaking duties. Sometimes it just means they contributed money/invested in the film. A lot of money is necessary to get a film produced; hence the numerous producer credits on most films. I’d have to see AB’s contract to see whether he had specific active duties or whether producer was merely a financial credit.
