that I kept for 20 years. Before that, I worked at a lot of temp jobs where employers offered me permanent jobs after they got to know me and my work. Staffing agencies want to find good employees for their customers. The temp agency thing worked really well for me but, of course, that was many years ago. It could be very different now as so many things are.
