like, are there other candidates that you know about going after the same position?

because if you ARE, then maybe call back and tell her no. you already have a lot of notions in your head about what the job is going to be like, and all of them lean toward the negative.

if you think there is someone else who wants that job more than you do, maybe you should just call her back and decline, and keep on looking.
