Also, this part really annoyed me and I need to find it online - but the part where the dude that was parkouring all through Paris with the torch, NBC cut out the part where he gave the torch back to Zidane! They went to a freaking endless commercial and when they came back Zidane had the torch and I thought maybe I hadn't been paying attention, so I rewound to that part last night. I watched and recorded it live, so maybe in the primetime version they actually showed the handover.
Celine was amazing and the cauldron was really cool. I felt bad for Mike Tirro though, they handed the torch off SO many times in those last few minutes, and so quickly, and he was definitely behind in telling everyone who they were (I'm sure he had to be told for several of them and that's why there was a delay).
