and I got a portion of her ashes. The rest of her was buried with my dad.

Side note, you can pick small urns to hold your portion but since my sister and I thought we might make a matching necklaces they gave us her ashes in what looks like a sealed dime bag. I made a joke to my sister that mommy is in a dime bag, we should call her “Dime Bag Judy” from now on. and we do. We have a sick sense of humor.
