Just an "off" feeling. It happened in 2023 too, and it turned out that we would have had to spend the entire trip indoors because of wildfire smoke in the area. I think this year it was rain with lots of flooding along the way. One time it turned out there was a heat wave where I would have been doing a lot of hiking. Useless the replacement trip turns out to be great though.
I should say there is a difference between an actual feeling and not wanting to go, which may be your husband's case and a whole different issue. But it's just like a gut feeling.
Maybe. I'm looking at NYC now, though the hotels near the parade route are of course high.
Hmm, NYC isn't exactly London, but it'll do in a pinch. Maybe it'll work out.
