doesn't seem to have really changed. I guess they thought this time it would be different. J-Lo is a huge movie star and fame goes along with that. There are actors like Edward Norton who avoid the limelight as much as possible. I don't fault J-Lo for embracing and/or loving it. That's her prerogative. She is considered an A-lister.

I feel for some celebs. TMZ changed the game with their ability to show up at restaurants, grocery stores, and airports catching celebs and sticking a camera in their face. This happens as a result of fans sending in tips and occasionally, the celeb's publicist dropping a tip where their client is.

Celebrity/Fame/Stardom is a machine. Some people maneuver it accurately and others struggle with it. The other thing that we have seen happen often with celebrity couples is when one starts to surpass the other in popularity, buzz, roles. It is what largely contributed to the failure of Chad Lowe and Hilary Swank.

I've even seen it where the photogs take a picture of the celebrity couple and then ask their spouse to step aside so they can get solo pics. I think for some, it's a blow to their ego. I think it's smarter when a celebrity marries an average Jane or Joe.

Matt Damon and his wife Luciana have been married for 19 years. She was a bartender at a bar where he grew up. I remember seeing an interview where he said how the patrons usually make a big deal when he comes in: wanting autographs or pictures. Luciana didn't give a $hit and that intrigued Matt. He asked her out and the rest is history. They now have four daughters. [link]
