We went to Ocean City, MD. Had a good time for the most part, but the while the skies were clear and they were nice sunny days, it never got over 75 degrees. A beach vacation is the only time I ever actually want it to be hot! We did still go in the ocean, though it was pretty cold. And poor Jack got stung up by a batch of 'sea lice' - aka jellyfish larvae! They're tiny but are still a bit painful and he got welts from them (and wouldn't go back in the ocean for a couple days).
Poor Jack! And oh yeah...why is it when you plan a beach day, you get the cooler temperatures <g>?
I was able to read a book (Listen for the Lie) and continue reading another one (The Man From The Train). I usually do more reading while I'm there but ended up scrolling tiktok on my morning balcony time instead.

We had crabs, got to see the Air Show (man some of those jets are LOUD) and overall enjoyed it. Came back pretty early on Sunday, though, since Monday was Jack's first day of school - 4th grade already!!!
I'm having a lot of trouble wrapping my mind around Jack being a fourth grader "already"!
Nothing much else going on around here, though I did decide to postpone our London trip to next Thanksgiving instead.
