love being around kids (I make exceptions for family and friends' kids <g>), I look forward to kids going back to school and not being in public spaces as much <g>. September is a great month to vacation if you're child free; it's usually too early for parents to pull kids out of school for family fun, so places that might otherwise be overrun with kids are usually child-lite.
Fall is also the start of the new network TV season (I still watch a lot of network TV), the start of NFL football season and the start of more "fall foods" (apples, butternut squash...yes, pumpkin pie spice everything) popping up on menus. No wonder fall is my favorite season!
