Slayer & Vampires: The Complete Uncensored, Unauthorized Oral History of Buffy & Angel by Edward Gross & Mark A. Altman (C). The book came out in 2016, and the entire book seemed to be kissing Whedonโs a**, which was kinda gross knowing what we know and what Charisma Carpenter and James Marsters sorta alluded to at times. I did find the parts about Angel more interesting as I already knew the Buffy stuff.
I would totally be seeking this book out but knowing it's a Whedon love-fest...nah, pass. I was feeling all kinds of ways when it first broke that JW was basically a misogynistic donkey hole because on the one hand, I've loved practically everything he's had a hand in (except the superhero stuff but then again, I don't like superhero stuff in general so that wasn't Whedon's fault) but OTOH, I can't stand jerks who behave like he apparently did (and probably still does).
