I always say that for 364 days of the year, I'm perfectly fine with, and more than willing to be, the wind beneath everyone's wings but on September 9? I am the QUEEN <g>.

Fun fact I'm sure I've already shared here: today is the most popular birthday in America. More Americans are born on September 9 than any other day of the year. Not sure if this is always true or was true at one point and now is a fact oft repeated, and I don't know if it's true for other parts of the world but at least in one census somewhere, some time, September 9 is the #1 birthday. Fun fact I don't think I've shared here before: over the years, there's been not one but TWO celebrity crushes of mine that also celebrate a birthday on September 9. One is Tom Wopat (Luke Duke on The Dukes of Hazzard) and the other is former NBA player Dan Majerle.

Over the last two weeks, I've encountered two other people who are celebrating their birthday today. One was a woman at the county jobs and family services' career center (long story short: they were of no help and did nothing I've not already been doing) and the other was...well, I didn't meet HER but her mother, who was shopping for a birthday gift at Chico's for her daughter.
