This is all so sad, even 23 years later, watching the loved ones of people who died that day, their grief so raw.
There are a lot of younger kids up there today, speaking on behalf of relatives they never got to meet. Some of the dead have now been gone longer than they were on earth.
Most of them talk about how the world seems to be forgetting, how the ceremonies in and around NYC keep their loved ones alive, and they are grateful.
I do watch every year. and every year I cry and cry and cry for the loss, the terror and the pain that so many are still going through, emotionally and physically.
