Yes, I have all 4 of my wisdom teeth, they are all out, never impacted. I have big mouth, literally and figuratively! ; )
the upper right one showed softness in my last visit, so they consulted the xrays i took back in Feb and sure enough, there was a shadow there.
Dentist said that we might be able to save it, so we tried, but the cavity is very deep and it's not very easy to access the spot where it is. But he tried, and cleaned it up and filled it. But it will have to come out if it starts acting up OR if future xrays show it's spread or gotten worse.
But i gather ALL wisdom teeth have to be taken out by an Oral Surgeon, because the root system of wisdom teeth are very long. None of it sounds very fun.
