Hubby doesn't always think things through, he tends to go for whatever is 'easiest' in the moment and detrimental in the long run. So we ended up having to walk around piles more than we should have.

oh well, the guys are here stacking the additional 3 cord now and after today, I won't have to think about stacking wood, just burning it!
