but before that, I need to clean the @#$!@#! house. You would think the cool, rainy and yet still humid* weather would be great motivation to stay inside and clean, but I've been fighting both fall allergies and a low-grade sinus headache for days now and all I want to do when I'm not working is lay around, watch mindless TV, read or play on the computer.
* Dad has a humidity gage in his bedroom and for days now, it's hovered between 80-90% humidity *sigh*.
Speaking of outside Halloween decorations, I need to get some pics of the neighbors' yards. For years, at Christmastime, there's been a string of houses in some kind of mad competition to see who can erect the most holiday cheer in their front yards and now a few of those houses are competing for best Halloween decor. There's really only two houses with a shot at the title...both have outdoor decorations that are terrifying. And I'm not just talking the cost of the things they keep adding to the yard...I could probably pay my bills for a year on what these two houses spent (total) just to be the scariest house on the block.
