On Dad's side of the family, there's two somewhat distant relatives that may or may not have made something of themselves. One went off to California and was never heard from again while the other bought 100 acres of land, sight unseen, in Florida after reading an ad in a magazine. The land later turned out to be prime dairy land...anyways, I've often joked that maybe one of those relatives (or at this point a descendant) would leave me a fortune...and somehow ignore Dad, his sister and my other six cousins, plus all of Grandpa's brother's kids and grandkids?
