Texas chili because a) I can't deal with a ton of heat and b) I *like* beans in my "chili". But I totally understand Texans objecting to anything with beans being called "chili".

I like the idea of "leftover" soup; it sounds like a great way to clean out the fridge! Sometimes on Sunday afternoon, my lunch after church will be a miniscule helping of whatever's in the fridge that needs to be finished up. I'm cool with that...it's like a personal buffet.
