really good idea of some of the health and human services priorities (including caregiving but also Alzheimer's bills (frequent collaborator), Medi-Cal, etc.) that we will work on next year. We're even sending draft language up for review (when needed) for legislation we hope to bring to legislators' attention in the fall. Working with partners on all :)
I've never seen this much action so early. It will help in January to not feel quite as swamped.
CA will still have a budget deficit next year, so we may have to fight to save funding for critical programs. Most of the critical programs were protected this year, but I'm not sure how long that will last.
