My preferred method for consuming bananas is in banana bread. Or maybe some good old-fashioned 'nana pudding. Oh, and banana milkshakes are delightful.
banana muffins and banana bread. I’ve never had banana pudding.
A slightly amusing story...one of the staples in our fridge is "Amish" potato salad from Walmart. Not sure what makes it Amish other than it has pickles in it and is slightly sweet. One day, Dad grabbed the wrong container and accidentally brought home Amish macaroni salad. Neither of us are huge fans of macaroni salad but this one was pretty darn good, so we finished the container. And then got another and finished that one. And got another one. One night earlier this week, I had a late night attack of the munchies and ate the last few spoonsful of macaroni salad. I noticed there was still a LOT of, uh, "sauce" (?) left at the bottom of the container, so I cooked up some more macaroni and poured it into the empty (of macaroni) container. Only I guess I didn't quite drain the macaroni well enough...I came home from work Wednesday night, made myself some dinner and settled in to watch some mindless TV. Dad drifted in and started chatting, as he's wont to do...suddenly he was telling me that he finished off the macaroni salad in the fridge and it was a little "off". I asked him if it tasted bad and he said, puzzled, "No...it was just kind of watery". I told him what I did and we laughed...and today when I got back from lunch out with a friend, there was a new container of macaroni salad in the fridge.
I would call it dressing, not sauce (as in salad dressing). Your idea to make more macaroni salad might have worked if you had drained the pasta better. Are you going to try it again with the new macaroni salad leftover dressing?
I like macaroni salad. My go to macaroni salad is macaroni, mayo, tuna, celery, sweet onion, green salad olives, red peppers and black pepper. It’s a one dish meal for me. Carbs, protein and veggies.
