They are NOT getting hit by Milton; in fact, it'll be sunny there when I arrive, as well as in Panama City Beach where I'm flying in to.
They ARE impacted by ppl driving north and staying in N. FL and S. AL, so lots of price gouging. For example, the hotel I booked in Dothan is currently all filled up, but won't be by Sunday.
I was supposed to leave on Saturday, but Southwest told me - yeah, you should re-book, and it's for free.
I only pushed it back to Sunday - I have my car rental confirmed (cheapest car is an SUV!) and asked the hotel in Dothan for a late arrival.
