She's not big on big cities (which also odd b/c she lives in Milwaukee -- well suburb now but I grew up in Milwaukee proper).
Thanks for the insight! My sister and I are both lucky enough to be making money and we're both single, so we have more funds to move around. I have a lot of hang-ups with my parents, but they truly did the best they could. We're both at the point where if we can give them something that they didn't even aspire to have, we should, especially b/c they're getting older. My mother is absolutely thrilled b/c she gets to be all "my girls are..." to her sister, who has grandchildren, so she's finally "winning."
I love my family, but I'm so glad I have one sibling and we keep the game playing to a minimum -- as in, Team Sisters vs Team Parents. lol
