come to our yard--the rose of sharon bushes in the back attract the most beautiful hummingbirds to the flowers in the summer and the cardinals and blue jays when the branches are bare--but I've never cared to seek out new (to me) species or look up the names of the birds I do see. Bff OTOH has multiple birdhouses around her yard, including one that was a present from me that attaches to the windowsill with plastic clings, and she's constantly telling me about the birds in her yard.
I *do* love being outside on a warm, clear night and gazing up at all the stars though!
