Just not directed only to Drake, though he took a few shots in that direction, too.

Serena Williams (who is rumoured to have dated Drake, which I have zero doubt is an unpleasant experience) was doing the crip walk, which has been around since the 70s. It's not so much that it's popular as it comes out of Compton, which is where Kendrick is from. Snoop Dogg also did it at the halftime show a few years ago.
