They put on
one plate (out of three), told me what had to be done to pass the inspection (I have to place a remote by every door leading into the room to pass the inspection), and that the inspection will probably be Wednesday. On Tuesday, they want their final payment of $4,108.
I told him that I would drop off the check after they took all the debris from my yard and installed the plates for the light switches. I planned to drop off the check tomorrow, after they remove all the debris, but I may wait until the final inspection is done.
Three professionals worth calling again following this job - the tiler, the painter, and the landscaper. The landscaper doesn't really count since I got him on my own, he doesn't work for them, and he's done work for me at the house before.
