I can now move stuff onto the patio. We're going to start settling in.
Tomorrow, the assembly guys I hired will come to put together the sofa in the new room. The sofa arrived Saturday, three days early.
I've been calling or texting people to let them know that the construction phase is over so we can get stuff done. I'm going to get a water catchment system added along with some gutters. I'm having cabinets, countertops, a reverse osmosis system, a sink, and a Sepura disposal installed in June. My daughter is moving some of her stuff onto the patio (a tilt chair and her weight/boxing bag). I'm going to move the cabinet with the cleaning supplies onto the patio.
I'm trying to find a person to paint the rafters and ceiling. I hope to arrange to have some plumbing work done so I can have a faucet on the other side of the house in the backyard. I may put that off until I get the cabinets and sink done since he's installing the Sepura. One trip for everything.
SERIOUS progress. It's going to be beautiful...if you don't count the ants who've returned now that things have calmed down. Landscaping later.
