to watch all the episodes; I'd made it through the first season and liked, but didn't love, the show and I was debating if I wanted to finish it. But back in...March, maybe?...I started season 2 and the show grew on me. I have to say, I'm in the minority in that I usually prefer a "regular" length season of a show (20-22 episodes) but I have to admit The Good Place, with its 52 episodes (13 per season), had exactly the right number of episodes. Each episode built on the previous ones and there wasn't a dud in the bunch. I enjoyed the overall concept (where we go when we die) and wound up loving the characters (even Jason, who worked my last nerve sometimes in the first season). My two favorite characters were Chidi and Janet. There's something about Chidi that just made me want to hug him. And the actress who played Janet had mad crazy range, especially when she was playing Bad Janet after all that time playing Good Janet. I'm glad I stuck it out and finished the series.
