I really enjoyed it.
We saw a Broadway show.
We went to the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island.
We went to "The Friends Experience"
We were blessed with perfect weather. Mid 70's and sunny. It was her first time flying and fortunately the flights were not terribly turbulent. We flew into LaGuardia. It was my first time at LaGuardia and I found it (at least terminal B) to be very well organized and easy to navigate.... and our luggage didn't get lost! lol... seriously my luggage has only gotten lost once in my life... but that was five times too many!
We walked A LOT and saw a lot of the city... also did a bus tour (saving our feet) and saw a whole lot more. Ate a lot of bagels... lol... and good Italian food... well ate a lot period... all the walking made us hungry!
I started coming down with a cold the day before we came home... but it was a nice trip.
Now... I wonder where my younger granddaughter will want to go when she graduates in a few years... I am hoping for someplace I can lay on the beach!
