I totally agree with you on the conspiracy theorists of this fandom. It's interesting to note it was the "7 year slow burn" believers who went hard on the idea that Bobby is actually alive. We literally saw him die and be buried. There were lots of interviews in the aftermath. Lots of fellow actors paying tributes. Peter Krause even appeared on GMA (or one of the morning shows). They're not doing all of those things for a fake out.
