I had ordered some magnetic screens for doors, but I didn't like them between the color (brown) and the way they fit, so I ordered a different type and planned to attach them a different way.
The problem was the door from my daughter's room out to the backyard, now the covered patio. She'd had similar magnetic screens, but because the side facing the yard wasn't covered, the adhesive melted and the screen wouldn't stay attached. Now that it's covered, that shouldn't be a problem. In addition, the door is a bit of an odd size that doesn't sit well with the actual frame of the entire door area so I got a screen for the entire door area (48" versus 31"). It fits much better.
Now the door with the dog door (36") has a magnetic screen, the door to my daughter's area has a screen (48"), and the double door from the room directly into the yard (72") has a screen. I've taken off the screen from the dog door and will re-attach it (Velcro-type stuff) when I have the door open. The dogs aren't too thrilled with it, so I removed it last night so they can go in and out easily.
I still need to do some work...well lots f work...on the second bedroom so I can move the freezer from the patio into the room.
