it was a slower burn than i was expecting, but i did enjoy it. Hubby wants to see the 2nd one, and needed a refresher and i hadn't seen the first one at all.
my main takeaway is how on earth is John Bernthal not in every movie ever made? i was introduced to him on The Walking Dead and then watched some Punisher. Saw him again as Lee Iacocca in Ford vs Ferrari (small role) and was absolutely floored by his performance in Stars' American Gigolo. He's the best badass, good, bad, anti hero, he has it all.
