Today was the gutters
and the 1,600 gallon water tank. The company wanted to wait until the patio cover was painted, since I'd said that I wanted to paint it. As soon as it was done (Friday), they took the first available day...today.
Tomorrow is cabinet day. A guy is coming down to install a wall of cabinets (three upper cabinets - one 45" cabinet and two 22" cabinets that are next to each other and have doors that open in opposite directions so it looks almost like the 45" cabinet on the other side, and a row of lower cabinets for the 33" sink with disposal and three(?) sets of drawers that will include one set that has a pull out garbage can and recycling bin) and a stand alone set of drawers for the coffee/smoothie station. I'll get back about 1/4 of my room. Right now, the boxes are taking up a lot of space in the room.
I hope to call an electrician and a plumber tomorrow to make arrangements for fans and lights to be installed and a water line to go from one side of the house to the other and have the sink and disposal installed after I have the granite countertops added. The countertop people have to do the templates to cut the openings for the faucets, sink, reverse osmosis system, and otherwise prep the granite.
Feeling more settled by the day.
