In '97, when we lost (in extra innings, in game 7) to the Florida Marlins, I was LIVID. Our then closer, Jose Mesa, had been near automatic all season...he chose the last game of the WS to tank? The last pitch even (we were literally one strike away from winning the dang thing)? And to a team that was dismantled at the end of the season because the owner didn't want to pay all those high salaries? Ouch. I'm still a little bitter about that one.
