We weren't sure about this show, but something unexpected that happened at the end of the last ep we watched now has us very intrigued.
The episode also answered some questions. I was hating the part of the show where the main guy (Taron Egerton) is writing a book. And from everything we heard of what he was writing...OMG godawful. Nothing original, just absolute crap. He would take out parts of his day to transcribe the latest scene, and we were like WTF is this? Nothing of note was happening. Nothing.
Well, his character tries sending a sample to some publisher, who responds by telling him that the writing was hackneyed, that the characters are poorly developed and where are the women?
Whew...so the show started to turn for us there and got better after that.
I did see a review saying that you need to get through the first few episodes before it takes off, and yep, we are at that point now.
