old for Chuck E. Cheese when it came to my neck of the woods--I was in my very early teens--but I still went several times and enjoyed everything but the pizza <g>. I did, however, visit the arcade at the mall a LOT...I like that the article mentioned vintage arcade games. There's a bowling alley/arcade attached to one local mall of ours; when I took a stroll through it, I didn't recognize a single video game.
If it were up to me, there'd be an adult CEC in a Cleveland suburb and it would have Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Asteroids, Galaxian, Centipede, maybe Breakout and most definitely my favorites, Qbert and Tetris (Tetris was always better on the big screen, though I played it to death on an early version of Game Boy). Plus Skee-ball...and yes, I want to be able to win prizes <g>. And a dining area that actually serves decent pizza please!
