I’m glad you enjoyed Katz’s and the Highline. Was this Jack’s first trip to NYC? I forget, how old is he now? Ten? Cool that he enjoyed his first Broadway musical and ate some different foods. My nephew, Luke, went through a long stage during which he only ate a handful of foods. Mac & cheese was one of them. Chicken nuggets. Pizza. Grapes. He’s 23 now and eating much more variety, though I would never call him a foodie or adventurous eater. Lots of good food coming for Jack if he is willing to try new things. I love the sea glass carousel.
He'll be 10 next month! And yes, his first trip to NYC. I was about the same age the first time I went to NYC. He is usually a mac and cheese person but he specifically asked to try dumplings at Golden Unicorn. And even suggested we get Chinese food for dinner tonight (though he wanted dumplings and sweet and sour chicken, no sauce, so basically nuggets lol). I'm hoping he'll get more adventurous the older he gets.
