I won't say I was a big Mags fan but, dang, that funeral got me. I just feel so terrible for Bash. A part of me wishes that he and Mags had never gotten back together because that just seems to make it even harder on him. June's reaction was spot on for her which is to run from her feelings.
Not a Mags fan at ALL--she's honestly my least favorite character, though I don't hate her or anything--but that funeral was so sad. Kudos to both the actors and the writers; this was possibly the best episode of the entire series (and not just because Mags isn't in it much <g>). Bash sobbing on Jeb's shoulder, and Theo breaking down in his father's arms, was so powerful. It was also painful to watch Mags' mom be so upset at Bash for not calling her (even though Bash was right to say it wasn't his decision) and to watch June be unable to sit throughout the funeral (though it was lovely to watch her help the elderly lady find her father's grave). Oh, and Bash snapping at Theo to stop trying to help him....ouch.
I loved seeing Bishop again. And the show runner said we were to take the moment with him and Claire as them reconnecting. I always loved them as a couple so I hope they do find each other again now.
Me too!
