The audacity. I'm dropping out of the wedding
and the friendship. And as one of the people in the article said.....how is the MOH charging people $500 to sleepover at her house for the weekend? WTF? Even with additional "activities", the math ain't mathing.
When we got married (back in the Stone Age) neither of us bothered with a Bachelor/Bachelorette. We found them....dumb, frankly. Back then people didn't do such over the top ones anyway. I also paid for the Bridesmaid dress and shoes for one of my bridesmaids. We knew that she could barely afford to drive to Ohio (from Philly) and stay at the hotel for the weekend. We met her boyfriend (now husband) for the first time at our wedding. They are still married and we are all still good friends, even though we live in different cities now. I can't imagine asking people to pay that much money to fawn all over you.
