set in post-Katrina New Orleans. Great characters, great cast, great music, great stories and David Simon’s always amazing, intelligent, complex, ruthless, truthful take on the failure of various institutions to help people. I love Treme as much as I love Simon’s The Wire. In a lot of ways, it’s his love letter to New Orleans and to the people of New Orleans.
